Group M&A Manager

Group M&A Manager | £80,000–£90,000 + benefits | High Wycombe Talent Drive are delighted to be supporting a growing and acquisitive business with the appointment of a Group M&A Manager .

This is a great opportunity for an M&A professional to join a business where acquisitions are a key part of the wider growth strategy, with a strong pipeline and exposure to a good variety of transactions.

The role will cover the full M&A lifecycle, from identifying and assessing potential opportunities through to valuation, due diligence, negotiation and deal execution. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the Group as well as external advisers, and will have real visibility across the wider business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Identifying and developing acquisition opportunities with divisional and senior stakeholders
• Supporting the Group’s M&A pipeline and strategic targeting
• Building financial models, business cases and valuations, including assessing synergies and wider Group impact
• Preparing investment papers and presentations for senior leadership, Investment Committee and Board
• Supporting negotiations using DCF, market data and valuation techniques
• Coordinating due diligence alongside legal teams and external advisers
• Managing acquisition pipeline reporting and contributing to post-investment reviews
• Supporting regulatory, governance and risk considerations throughout the process

What we’re looking for:

• Strong M&A experience, ideally across a range of small to mid-sized transactions
• Excellent financial modelling and valuation skills
• Strong commercial judgement and analytical ability
• Confident communicating and presenting to senior stakeholders
• Strong report writing and attention to detail
• Someone who enjoys working collaboratively and building relationships across a wider business

Location & flexibility

The role is based near High Wycombe . The business is open to a genuinely hybrid approach, with a few days per month on site possible for the right person. If you’re local, there would ideally be a little more face-to-face time, but there is flexibility around how this works.
