Production Engineer

Tailors Industries Μονοπρόσωπη ΑΕ is a dynamically growing chemical industry with a leading presence in the Biofuels, green fuels, and chemical economy sector. Aiming for continuous growth, modernization, and optimization of our operations, we are seeking a capable and ambitious Mechanical Engineer, who will join the company's technical team, with the goal of taking on increased responsibilities and the prospect of evolving into the position of Technical Director of the Group.

Job Subject and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will play an active role in the operation, technical support, and optimization of the production facilities, with key responsibilities:

• Monitoring the smooth operation of the mechanical and electromechanical equipment of the production facilities.
• Searching for best practices, identifying causes of problems, proposing solutions, and implementing corrective actions within limited timeframes.
• Organizing, supervising, and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Identifying technical problems and designing solutions to improve the reliability and efficiency of the equipment.
• Participating in the design and implementation of technical projects, expansions, and upgrades of the facilities.
• Monitoring the production process and contributing to the optimization of operating costs.
• Ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety rules, and the requirements of current legislation.
• Collaborating with the production and management teams to achieve operational goals.

Required Qualifications:

• University Degree in Engineering or Polytechnic.
• Previous experience in an industrial or production environment.
• Experience in the maintenance, operation, and management of industrial equipment.
• Good knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical installations.
• Ability to organize, plan, and solve technical problems.
• Administrative and communication skills.
• Very good knowledge of English and computer literacy.
• Ability to travel between the Group's facilities.

Desired additional qualifications

• Experience in biofuel production units, energy industries, chemical industries.
• Familiarity with industrial production processes, pumps, tanks, heat exchangers, and automation.
• Experience in managing technical teams and technical project management.
• Knowledge of maintenance management systems and industrial design.
