Your role as Transport Planner for Italy

As a Transport Planner, you are responsible for the daily planning and follow-up of intermodal transports in Italy. You coordinate transports, maintain contact with drivers and terminals, resolve operational problems, and ensure correct administrative follow-up.

Your package of tasks:

• You create the daily transport planning for the intermodal transport activities in Italy.
• You plan and coordinate transports between different terminals and ensure efficient deployment of drivers and vehicles.
• You maintain contact with drivers, terminals, and colleagues.
• You actively and proactively follow up on transports in case of delays, changes, or other operational problems.
• You ensure correct administrative follow-up.
• You have initial experience within transport, logistics, or transport planning.
• You are accurate, organized, and solution-oriented.
• You communicate fluently in Italian and English; other languages are a plus.
• You are a strong communicator, social, and a true team player.
• You can handle busy and unexpected situations well and maintain an overview.
