Head of FP&A Location: West Midlands Salary: £90,000 to £120,000 + Benefits Package Hybrid

T2MResourcing are working with a highly successful and acquisitive UK-based group to recruit a Head of FP&A into its senior finance team. This is a high-profile role with responsibility for strengthening the quality of strategic planning, financial modelling, forecasting and commercial insight across a complex group environment. Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, the successful candidate will play an important role in supporting senior leadership with the analysis and insight required to shape business strategy and drive performance.

The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FP&A professional to take a highly visible strategic role within a growing and diverse group. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence the development of the group's planning and analysis capability, work closely with senior leadership and contribute directly to strategic decision-making and business performance. You will be commercially minded, naturally inquisitive and comfortable challenging information and assumptions, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professional delivery.

The Role As Head of FP&A, you will lead the group's budgeting and forecasting activities, while continuing to develop the sophistication of its financial planning and reporting capabilities. Key responsibilities will include: Leading the group-wide budgeting and forecasting process Developing and enhancing financial modelling and scenario analysis Providing high-quality financial insight to support executive decision-making Maintaining and developing long-term strategic, operational and capital budgets Identifying key performance indicators and monitoring business performance Building strong relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders Undertaking detailed financial analysis and investigations to support the senior finance team Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, efficiency and best practice across finance Leading and developing a small team of two FP&A accountants

About You We are looking for a qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA, CIMA with strong technical and commercial capability and experience gained within a sizeable, complex or acquisitive organisation. You will ideally bring: Strong experience in financial planning and analysis within a large corporate environment Excellent financial modelling and scenario-planning capability Experience administering and developing FP&A/planning systems Practical experience with Workday Adaptive Planning and/or Vena Strong Excel and wider Microsoft Office skills Experience of financial consolidation Experience working within a multi-currency environment would be advantageous Excellent communication and reporting skills A hands-on, analytical approach with the ability to turn financial data into meaningful commercial insight
