Your tasks

• In this position, you will actively shape the Category Management for sheet metal, metallic raw materials, coils, and aluminum castings and develop the area group-wide.
• You will develop global procurement strategies and contribute to ensuring a secure, economical, and qualitatively appropriate supply for the corporate group.
• You will always keep an eye on international procurement markets, price developments, availability, and possible supply risks.
• You will also select suppliers, develop them further, and build a resilient international network.
• You will conduct price and contract negotiations with national and international suppliers independently and confidently.
• The technical and economic evaluation of materials and manufacturing processes is also part of your area of responsibility.

Requirements

• You have completed technical or commercial training or a corresponding degree, ideally with a connection to metal, materials technology, production, or procurement.
• You already have experience in strategic procurement or Category Management of metal, sheet metal, coils, semi-finished products, or castings.
• Technical understanding of metallic materials, manufacturing processes, and quality requirements is required.
• Knowledge of material testing, corrosion behavior, surfaces, or material-technical specifications is an advantage.
• A structured and analytical way of working, negotiation skills, and a confident appearance in an international environment characterize you.
• Very good English skills and willingness to travel round off your profile.
