Who we are looking for

• Development and design of fans and components from the concept phase to series production readiness
• Execution of fluid mechanics simulations (CFD) and application of the Finite Element Method (FEM) for the design of components

• Collaboration in the structural design of components, taking into account functional, cost, and production aspects
• Development of structural solution variants for customer-specific requirements using common FEM / FKM systems

• Support in the execution and evaluation of development-relevant air performance measurements
• Documentation as well as presentation of methods, processes, and project results

What we expect

• Completed degree (Master / Diplom / Bachelor) in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable course of study with a focus on turbomachinery
• Practical experience in the field of fluid simulation and / or strength calculation, preferably with Ansys tools

• Knowledge of fluid mechanics as well as turbo machines and materials, specifically aluminum casting materials
• Confident use of the MS Office package

• Good written and spoken English skills
• Teamwork skills, strong communication skills, independent and structured way of working

• Reliability and sense of responsibility regarding deadlines and quality
