Purchasing Buyer / Procurement Buyer

Main Mission: Ensure the best purchasing conditions by optimizing prices and lead times.

Missions and activities of the position: Level 1:

• Request quotes from suppliers,
• Establish, track, and follow up on purchase orders in the ERP,
• Launch orders for production (components),
• Monitor stocks resulting from purchases,
• Negotiate purchase prices and delivery lead times,
• Assist other departments,

Level 2 (in addition to level 1):

• Act as a contact person for one or more clients,
• Be responsible for the stocks of assigned clients,
• Supervise the production logistics for their clients,
• Manage the annual market

Technical Knowledge: Level 1:

• Know the electronic and mechanical environment,
• Know and master office tools and ERPs,
• Master subcontracting in an electronic industrial context,
• Know how to manage a multi-reference parts warehouse,
• Know how to negotiate to optimize costs and delivery lead times,
• Know how to communicate in English,
• Follow the evolution of purchasing regulations,

Level 2 (in addition to level 1):

• Master level 1,
• Know the supplier market (manufacturers, distributors, catalog companies).

Responsibilities: Level 1:

• Be responsible for the compliance of purchases,
• Respect the allocated deadlines,
• Generate financial gains,

Level 2 (in addition to level 1):

• Be responsible for and manage the stocks of assigned clients,
• Provide support for customer satisfaction.

Working Conditions:

• Availability required, multitasking, changing priorities,
• Occasional travel,

• Internally: Methods, sales, warehouse, production, quality, accounting,
• Externally: Suppliers, clients, subcontractors, certifying bodies,
