Engineering Assistant

Your tasks

• Assemble mechanical component from module level to machine level, performing time adjustment and machine testing process.
• Perform assembly work according to Work Instruction as per training provided
• Ensure product assembled meets customer specifications & expectations
• Maintain workplace safety, cleanliness and tidiness.
• Maintain tools and equipment for production use.
• Assist in material handling and kitting, whenever required.
• Ensure product assembly meets or better than targeted completion time/ date.
• Conduct simple tooling daily checks.
• Records data required for statistical process control, production related reports and inventory management.
• Report to immediate supervisor for non-conformity, if any.
• Willing to work extra hours or on weekends, if required
• Other duties as and when assigned.

Requirements

Job Requirements

• Nitec or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or equivalent
• EAB/EAS certification
• Experience and knowledge in the field of contract manufacturing is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience n technical assembly work.
• O level with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
• Honest, good attitude and teamwork.
• Quick learner with good quality mindset and can-do attitude
• Hands-on skill in mechanical and/ or electrical assembly
