Machine operator - forklift certificate required

Experience with a metal shearing machine is not required. Technical insight, working safely, and practical skill with a forklift are important. You will be trained on the machine and must be able to work independently and responsibly.

Do you enjoy working with large equipment and are you looking for a full-time position in an industrial environment? For a client in the Velsen-Noord region, Synvio is looking for machine operators to process metal and scrap.

What will you do? You will collect metal and scrap with a forklift, place the material in a large metal shearing machine, and monitor the shearing process. After that, you will bring the processed material to the collection location. You will keep your workplace safe, neat, and organized. Experience with the machine is not necessary: you will receive explanation and guidance.

You will work full-time in a schedule of 4 days working and 4 days off. You will work morning or evening shifts between 07:00 and 23:00.

What do we ask? You have a valid forklift certificate and VCA or are willing to obtain VCA. Preferably, you speak Dutch; basic knowledge of English is mandatory. You have technical insight, work safely, and can take responsibility independently.

What do we offer? Your compensation is based on the CAO Beroepsgoederenvervoer 2026. You will receive a temporary contract with a view to a permanent position and can start in the short term. During periodic training days, you can potentially learn to drive a shovel and obtain the correct papers.

You will work at a professional organization at an industrial location in the Velsen-Noord region. For this position, Synvio works together with Visbeek Werkt, which handles the formal employment and temporary agency administration.
