Motion Engineer

We are looking for a Motion Control Engineer for our Terrassa (BCN) offices for the Life Science Equipments division, whose mission will be to carry out, coordinate, and execute automation projects for loading systems from specification to commissioning, according to the requirements of the services the company wishes to offer to ensure lower cost, project delivery time, and satisfaction of specifications following the instructions set by the company. Responsibilities: Participate in the generation of offers following customer specifications. Generate the necessary documentation for the generation of software validation (SDS and SMDS). Design and program PLC software for the correct functioning of the equipment. Configure IOS components and their communications. Perform preliminary tests with the machines. Attend project follow-up meetings with all members of the project team. Execute software validations, as well as qualification protocols according to CMPs. Attend facility commissioning, both at the factory and at the customer's site, ensuring the delivery of our projects and thus guaranteeing satisfaction of the specifications. Provide training courses to the customer on the operation of the equipment, both to end users and to maintenance personnel. Provide support to the After Sales Service department in all matters related to control. Actively participate in projects related to Lean Manufacturing.
Education: Technical and/or Industrial Engineering, specialty in electronics, electronics and automation, telecommunications, mechatronics and/or training acquired in the development of their usual profession. Knowledge: Proficiency in PLC programming (Minimum Siemens and Rockwell). Proficiency in servo configuration and programming (Minimum B&R, Beckhoff and Yaskawa) Knowledge of mechatronics. Knowledge of computer systems and industrial communications. Knowledge of pharmaceutical process validations (development and execution). Knowledge of GMP and GAMP. High spoken and written English. Other spoken and written languages are valuable. Availability to travel periodically worldwide. Driver's license and own vehicle.
