Senior Engineer / Technician, Electrical, Qualification & Validation

The job holder works on all maintenance, retrofit, and optimization projects for industrial pharmaceutical freeze-dryers. They are the key technical interlocutor between the design office, field teams, and customers, and are the guarantor of electrical expertise for the company.
Functions & Responsibilities
- Technical — Electrical & Pneumatic
- Design of electrical studies or modifications within the framework of retrofits or customer service provisions
- Design / modification / replacement of pneumatic systems within the framework of retrofits or customer service provisions
- Analysis of existing electrical diagrams (power, automation, instrumentation)
- Modification and creation of electrical diagrams and P&ID in compliance with current standards
- Definition and selection of electrical components (sizing, sourcing, approval)
- Knowledge of automation and supervision (Siemens S7/TIA Portal, Allen Bradley, HMI) — appreciated
- Drafting of technical notices and associated documentation (user manuals)
- Pharmaceutical Validation
- Development of validation plans according to GMP/BPF requirements
- Drafting and execution of qualification protocols and reports: IQ – Installation Qualification
- OQ – Operational Qualification
- Knowledge and application of regulatory frameworks: EU GMP Annex 11 & Annex 15
- FDA 21 CFR Part 11
- GAMP 5
- Participation in customer audits
- Transversal Functions
- Assistance to the sales department: technical support during quoting phases and responses to calls for tenders
- Assistance to technicians on customer sites during complex interventions
- Technical assistance to customers: remote support or on-site, user training
- Education: Bac+2 to Bac+5 in Electrotechnics, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering or equivalent
- Experience: minimum 3 to 5 years in a similar position, ideally in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or agri-food sector
- Experience with freeze-dryers or pharma process equipment is a major asset
- English: professional level required — reading technical documentation, international customer exchanges (oral and written)
- Proficiency in SEE electrical
