Production and Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor production machines during daily operations.

To ensure production floor aligns with 5S policy in terms of health and safety standards.

Perform routine maintenance and servicing of equipment.

Troubleshoot and fix minor machine faults to minimize downtime.

Assist with equipment setup, adjustments and cleaning.

Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet standards.

Report major breakdowns or technical issues to the supervisor.

Keep accurate records of maintenance work done.

Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.

Job Requirements

Completed at least Secondary Education or equivalent; technical certificate (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering Trade/NTC, TVET) is an advantage.

Basic knowledge of machinery and mechanical / electrical / industrial maintenance principles.

Able to follow instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately.

Good troubleshooting skills for minor machine faults.

Physically fit; able to do standing, lifting, bending, and moving equipment safely.

Responsible, reliable and safety-conscious mindset.

Working hours in shifts are required.
