Business Development Executive – eJustice
As a member of Synergy International Systems’ eJustice business, the Business Development Executive will support the growth of Synergy’s digital justice business by implementing the business development strategy and priorities defined for the eJustice department.
Working under the strategic direction of the VP of eJustice, the role requires strong initiative and ownership in execution, including identifying and advancing opportunities, developing stakeholder relationships, providing market intelligence and recommendations, and contributing to strategic discussions.
Implement agreed eJustice business development priorities through market research, outreach, account development, partner engagement, and opportunity development.
Identify and assess opportunities across target countries, justice-sector institutions, international organizations, donor-funded programs, and strategic accounts, and recommend opportunities worth pursuing.
Research and monitor target markets, including institutional priorities, funding and procurement opportunities, competitors, key stakeholders, and relevant digital justice developments.
Build and manage a qualified international eJustice sales pipeline, taking ownership of systematically advancing assigned opportunities and ensuring timely follow-up.
Proactively engage prospective customers, government stakeholders, development organizations, and other relevant parties to build relationships and generate meetings, demonstrations, and qualified opportunities.
Work with Project and Account Managers to develop existing eJustice accounts and identify opportunities for additional institutions, solutions, modules, services, upgrades, and new initiatives.
Develop a strong understanding of Synergy’s eJustice solutions and coordinate with relevant internal teams to position solutions, prepare presentations and demonstrations, and support concept notes, expressions of interest, and proposals.
Identify and develop qualified local and international partners and coordinate agreed joint business development activities supporting market entry and opportunity development.
Represent Synergy at customer meetings, conferences, webinars, and industry events, and contribute to relevant marketing and thought-leadership activities.
Maintain accurate pipeline and account information, report progress, risks and market intelligence, provide recommendations, and work toward agreed business development and opportunity-generation targets.
At least 5 years of experience in business development, international sales, strategic partnerships, or related commercial roles, preferably in IT, enterprise software, or digital transformation.
Experience in B2G business development, including working with government institutions, international organizations, development partners, or donor-funded programs, and familiarity with government decision-making, procurement processes, and complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles. Experience in the justice sector or public-sector digital transformation is a strong advantage.
Proven ability to research markets, identify and qualify opportunities, engage prospective customers, and systematically advance opportunities.
Ability to understand institutional and business challenges and effectively position technology solutions against customer needs.
Strong communication, presentation, relationship-management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage government officials, executives, partners, and technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills, with a proactive and results-oriented approach and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory. French and/or Spanish is a strong advantage.
Willingness and availability to travel internationally.
