For a company in Hamont-Achel, we are looking for a commercial and driven Purchasing Manager

As a Purchasing Manager, you manage the entire purchasing process, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure that goods and services are purchased on time, with quality, and under the best conditions.

Your package of tasks consists of:

• You are responsible for the purchase of raw materials, production supplies, and subcontracting work
• You conduct market research and negotiate with suppliers
• You place orders and follow them up meticulously
• You apply purchasing procedures correctly and optimize them where necessary
• You work closely with various departments
• You help build a strong purchasing culture
• You contribute ideas regarding the purchase of investment goods
• You maintain good relationships with existing suppliers
• You actively look for new suppliers and opportunities
• You preferably have a higher technical or engineering education
• You are dynamic, communicative, and work independently
• You have strong tactical insight and good negotiation skills
• You communicate fluently in German, English, and French
• You work fluently with MS Office
