Are you an experienced welder with leadership qualities? Do you have experience within a welding environment and are you ready to take responsibility for a workshop? Then this position as Teamleader Welding Department is for you!

As Teamleader Welding Department, you ensure that the daily operations of the workshop run smoothly. You lead a team of welders, monitor planning and quality, and support your colleagues where necessary.

As Teamleader Welding Department, you are responsible for:

• Leading, coaching, and motivating the employees within the welding department.
• Planning and coordinating the daily activities in the workshop.
• Preparing and providing the necessary materials for production.
• Monitoring the quality, safety, and progress of the activities.
• Analyzing and solving technical problems on the shop floor.
• Proposing and implementing improvements within the welding department.
• Acting as a point of contact for your team and supporting colleagues where necessary.
• Helping to ensure a safe, clean, and organized workshop.
• Working closely with the work preparers, drafters, and the workshop manager of the assembly department to guarantee smooth production.

For this position, we are looking for a candidate who:

• Has experience as a welder within a technical production environment (steel, RVS, and/or aluminum).
• Has experience in a leadership, coordinating, or coaching role, or is ready to grow into one.
• Can easily read and interpret technical plans.
• Is a true team player with strong communication skills.
• Knows how to motivate employees and dares to take responsibility.
• Analyzes problems quickly and works in a solution-oriented manner.
• Considers safety, quality, and order important.
• Possesses a basic knowledge of English.
