Technician

Are you someone who loves working on machines and derives energy from technology? In this position as a technician, you will join a stable and well-known player within the food industry, active in a highly automated and modern production environment in the Wevelgem region.

You will start with an extensive training program so that you can get to know the installations and the full production process well. Afterwards, you will get the chance to work independently in a team where collaboration and craftsmanship are central.

Your tasks as a technician:

• Troubleshooting and resolving malfunctions on machines
• Overhauling and repairing technical parts
• Performing preventive maintenance according to schedule
• Thinking along about improvements and optimizations

We are looking for someone with a solid technical foundation who loves to learn and feels comfortable in a production environment.

• A diploma in electromechanics, electricity, or electronics (TSO or bachelor) or equivalent experience is present
• Basic knowledge of PLC, pneumatics, and automation is considered a plus
• Working fluently with Microsoft Office, SAP, and technical systems is not a problem
• Basic knowledge of English is present
• Eagerness to learn, stress resistance, and team-oriented working characterize your work style
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts (06h–14h and 14h–22h)
