Are you strong at organizing, do you love international logistics, and do you derive satisfaction from satisfied customers? Then this position as a sea freight forwarder within a Control Tower might be something for you!

You coordinate international sea freight shipments from A to Z for a strategic customer and ensure that every transport runs smoothly and according to agreement. In doing so, you work closely with internal teams, transport partners, and customs brokers. You are the central point of contact for the customer and contribute to reliable service through your accurate follow-up.

As a sea freight forwarder, you combine planning, administration, and customer contact. You actively follow up on transports, intervene when something goes wrong, and think along about how processes and service can be further improved.

Your package of tasks:

• You process transport orders in the system and ensure that all shipments are correctly and timely registered.
• You coordinate international sea freight shipments and coordinate with internal teams, carriers, and customs partners.
• You prepare transport and customs documents and check whether everything complies with the applicable regulations and internal guidelines.
• You follow up on shipments, proactively solve problems, inform customers, and look for improvements in service delivery.

• You have experience in forwarding, preferably within sea freight.
• You communicate fluently in English. Knowledge of Dutch is a strong asset.

• You are eager to learn and want to further develop yourself within international logistics.
