Your tasks
Directly reporting to the Infrastructure Team Leader, you will carry the vision and manage from end to end the design, implementation, and governance of the Group Configuration Management Database (CMDB) on ServiceNow.
- Project Scoping and Management
- Define the target vision of the Group CMDB in alignment with ITIL / ITSM best practices.
- Manage all phases of the project: scoping, design, integration, testing, deployment, and transition.
- Define the progressive deployment roadmap across the various subsidiaries and entities of the Group.
- Coordinate internal and external contributors (integrators, publishers, local teams) while ensuring respect for costs, deadlines, and quality.
- Design, Integration & Data Model
- Design the architecture and data model (CSDM / Configuration Items) on ServiceNow.
- Structure the rules for integration, automation, and reconciliation with third-party sources (Monitoring, Asset Management, CI/CD, etc.).
- Define the profiles, roles, security levels, and workflows associated with the CI lifecycle.
- Documentary Formalization & Processes
- Formalize key processes related to the CMDB: creation, update, audit, quality controls, and traceability.
- Write all reference deliverables (data models, operating procedures, RACI matrices, user guides).
- Governance, Change Management & Run
- Set up and lead governance and steering committees.
- Define and monitor performance indicators (KPIs) relating to data freshness, completeness, and compliance.
- Ensure regular reporting to the Group IT OPS Management.
- Lead co-construction workshops with business/technical teams (Infrastructures, Security, Business Apps, Data, EDI) and train users.
- Prepare and secure the transition to Run mode and the skill development of support teams.
Requirements
Profile sought: Technical skills and experience:
- Higher education in computer science with at least five years of experience in implementing CMDB projects from scratch, ideally in a complex, multi-subsidiary environment.
- ServiceNow expertise: excellent mastery of the platform and CMDB management.
- ITIL best practices: solid mastery of ITSM processes, particularly configuration management.
- Proven experience in defining data models and integrating heterogeneous information sources (Asset, CI/CD, Monitoring).
- Solid practice of cross-functional project management in a multi-stakeholder environment.
Interpersonal skills
- Leadership, diplomacy, and pedagogical skills to unite multidisciplinary teams in a multicultural context.
- Analytical and synthesis skills, great methodological and documentary rigor.
- Acute sense of data quality and the service provided to IT teams.
- Fluent English, both spoken and written, indispensable for daily exchanges with subsidiaries.
