Actuarial Consultant

About the company

As a result of continued expansion our client, a well-established and reputable pension and actuarial consulting firms, are currently looking for an Actuarial Consultant / Actuarial Analyst to join their growing team.

Your tasks

• Candidates will be responsible for working alongside Scheme Actuaries and Partners and assisting on the design, funding, administration and communication of pension schemes
• You will help Clients manage a variety of benefit related risks and guide Clients when formulating the shape of future pension provisions.
• You will deliver innovative solutions and attend client meetings where required.
• You will also be responsible for supporting more junior members of the team including checking of work etc.

Requirements

• Candidates need to have previous experience of working within the actuarial / pensions arena.
• Honours graduate in mathematics, economics or related subject,
• Ability to work to deadlines and to work well with colleagues
• Demonstrable progression towards professional qualifications (FIA or FFA)
