We are now looking for a Production Planner/Project Coordinator
We are looking for you who have experience in production planning in a manufacturing industry. Basic knowledge of Excel is a prerequisite and education in the form of YH or college/university within the field is meritorious. You have a strong motivation to drive the development of the company's operations and your own competence.
You are a communicative problem solver with a very high service mindset and as a person, you are social and a good networker who enjoys having large contact surfaces and being at the center of events. You take your own initiatives and are not afraid to make your own decisions. You are used to having many open questions and find it easy to prioritize between them on your own to achieve the best results. At the same time, you have a good ability to plan and organize your tasks in a structured manner. Since the corporate language is English, we require that you master it both in speech and writing. As a production planner, you work with both long-term and short-term planning and delivery scheduling. You do this in collaboration with Main Planning, Production Managers, Team Leaders, and Project Managers. Your assignment also includes taking our current production planning to a new level to better take into account different products, sequencing within and between production sections, as well as capacity ceilings. You will be a key player in the work of visualizing and digitalizing our production planning.
Approximately 50% of your time you will work as a Project Coordinator, i.e., the production's sub-project manager in our customer projects. You will be an important part of making our project-driven production work by constantly maintaining contact with our project managers. At Swisslog Pallet Technology Center in Boxholm, we develop, produce, and deliver automatic stacking cranes (Vectura), conveyors (ProMove), and shuttle systems (Powerstore) including PLC- and PC-based control systems. Together with our sister companies, we can combine and deliver different products and systems to match each individual customer's needs. We work in a project-oriented manner, which means many exciting challenges and adaptations. Currently, many customer projects are ongoing, while significant investments are being made in the development of new products and solutions. The number of employees at Swisslog in Boxholm is approximately 250 people.
