We are looking for a Commissioning Engineer for Swisslog

You have a secondary education with a technical focus, preferably automation and/or electrical/data. In addition to this, you have several years of experience from similar tasks. We value experience in both control systems and mechanics. A requirement for the position is basic knowledge of PC and PLC systems.

To succeed in the role of Commissioning Engineer, you have a great technical interest and very good technical competence. You have good knowledge of English, which is our corporate language. Knowledge of German is a merit.

As a person, you are proactive and motivated by working independently as well as together with others. You appreciate collaborating with different types of people and in different environments. We are looking for a new employee for our Commissioning Group. As a Commissioning Engineer, your main tasks will involve:

• Commissioning the company's products at the customer site
• Testing and verifications
• Continuous reporting
• Documentation of commissioning according to routines
• Support to the customer, which also includes on-call duty
• Training for staff and customers

The position involves approximately 150-200 overnight stays per year worldwide, and travel occurs with both short and long notice. The position requires good physical fitness as you must be able to work at heights and in different temperature conditions. During periods when no commissioning work is ongoing at a customer site, you will work in other parts of the organization. You will be an important representative for Swisslog as our face towards the customer and supplier. At Swisslog Pallet Technology Center in Boxholm, we develop, produce, and deliver automated stacker cranes (Vectura), conveyors (ProMove), and shuttle systems (Powerstore) including PLC- and PC-based control systems. Together with our sister companies, we can combine and deliver different products and systems to match each individual customer's needs. We work project-oriented, which means many exciting challenges and adaptations. Currently, many customer projects are ongoing, while significant investments are being made in the development of new products and solutions. The number of employees in Boxholm is approximately 250 people.
