Swisslog is looking for a Production Engineer
We are looking for you who have a great interest in technology, an education in technology/production engineering, and experience from production engineering or similar work within the manufacturing industry.
To thrive in this role, you are a person who takes initiative and is stimulated by problem-solving. You are outgoing and driving, and you appreciate working in close collaboration with both production personnel and other departments. As a person, you are structured and have the ability to plan and organize in an efficient manner, but at the same time thrive in the dynamic environment that a project-oriented organization constitutes. You handle English in speech and writing.
We are looking for a Production Engineer with experience from improvement work in a project-oriented operation. In our production environment, you will work with optimizing workstation designs and production layouts, including tools and other aids. You will do this in close collaboration with production, logistics, preparation, and design. You see the continuous improvement of the business as a natural part of the work. We work continuously with our production flow and would like you to have experience in this and be able to participate actively in streamlining our flow as well as increasing our production capacity. At Swisslog Pallet Technology Center in Boxholm, we develop, produce, and deliver automatic stacking cranes, conveyors, and shuttle systems, including PLC- and PC-based control systems. Together with our sister companies within the organization, we can combine different products and systems to match the customer's needs. We work in a project-oriented manner, which means exciting challenges and adaptations. Currently, many customer projects are ongoing, while significant investments are being made in the development of new products and solutions. The number of employees at Swisslog in Boxholm is approximately 250 people.
