Swisslog is looking for a Parts Support Engineer

You have a secondary school education, preferably within automation or similar. You have good general technical competence with an interest in mechanics, electrical, and control systems as well as electromechanics. We would prefer if you already have broad experience and knowledge of Swisslog PTC's products, regarding both mechanics and electronics.

As a person, you are a problem solver with good initiative. You have high social competence and appreciate collaborating with others. Your skills in English, both spoken and written, are good; if you also speak German, it is an advantage. You are PC-literate with good knowledge of Microsoft. The Technical Support department consists of a group of five people who work with, among other things, advanced technical support in warranty cases, modernization projects, remote software support, and spare parts management. The employees in the department all have different profiles and main areas of responsibility, and we are keen to utilize the competence each person has in, for example, technical support, troubleshooting, helpdesk management, commissioning, PLC/El-design, project management, service and maintenance, training, article data management, etc.

As a Parts Support Engineer, you will be appointed as the main contact person to, and will also report to, KUKA Parts Germany and Partille. Via KUKA Parts' case management system, you will provide our customers, both in Sweden and abroad, support in spare parts technical issues regarding mechanics and machine control. The role also includes handling spare parts quotes as well as managing and replacing obsolete articles and systems.

Otherwise, the position involves, among other things:

• Checking and verifying article data and prices in Purchase Orders from KUKA to PTC.
• Handling the purchase and delivery of spare parts in urgent situations and as replacements in case of, for example, incorrect or incomplete deliveries.
• Handling pricing policy and documentation for spare parts.

The position is located in Boxholm but involves a small portion of planned travel, approx. 5-10 days per year, both in Sweden and abroad. At Swisslog Pallet Technology Center in Boxholm, we develop, produce, and deliver automatic stacker cranes (Vectura), conveyors (ProMove), and shuttle systems (Powerstore) including PLC- and PC-based control systems. Together with our sister companies, we can combine and deliver different products and systems to match each individual customer's needs.
