Credit Executive (Credit Risk) - CBD

About the company

Our client, an established financial institution, is seeking a meticulous and analytical Credit Executive to support its credit risk assessment and portfolio monitoring activities.

Your tasks

• Review credit proposals, assessing borrowers’ financial positions, repayment capacity, collateral and key risks.
• Assist with annual credit reviews and due diligence checks, including litigation and credit bureau searches.
• Participate in customer site visits and telephone interviews when required.
• Prepare credit portfolio reports and monitor loan quality, industry exposure and concentration risks.
• Support credit stress testing and the implementation of risk policies and procedures.
• Prepare reports and documentation for management, committees, regulators and auditors.
• Assist with other duties assigned by the Head of Risk.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business, Economics, Risk Management or a related discipline.
• Meticulous, analytical and organised, with good follow-up skills.
• Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn credit assessment, financial analysis and portfolio monitoring.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is an advantage.
• Interest in Power BI, Python, SQL or data analysis is a plus.
• Candidates without experience but have relevant certification and aspirations are welcome to apply
