Job Title: 310S Automotive Service Technician

  • Compensation:*$28.00 - $35.00 per hour** (Straight hourly pay, non-flat rate)
  • Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday (No weekends)

Core Responsibilities

  • Diagnostics: Utilize modern scan tools to efficiently troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and driveability issues.
  • Repairs & Overhauls: Perform complete repairs and component replacements on braking systems, steering and suspension, engines, and drivetrains.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct comprehensive safety inspections, fluid flushes, oil changes, tune-ups, and tire services.
  • Road Testing: Safe operation of customer vehicles for pre- and post-repair road tests to verify concern resolution.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate records of diagnoses, parts needed, and upcoming safety recommendations.

Position Requirements

  • Trade Credentials: Must hold a valid Ontario 310S Certificate of Qualification (C of Q) registered in good standing with Skilled Trades Ontario.
  • Driver's License: Valid Ontario Class G driver's license with a clean, insurable driving abstract.
  • Tools: Ownership of a personal set of hand tools (shop-specific specialized equipment and heavy diagnostic tools are fully provided).
