Senior UX/UI Designer – UI & Design Systems – Göteborg/Luleå

We are looking for a senior UX/UI Designer with a strong focus on UI and component-based web design for a technical development-oriented assignment. You will work on creating clear, user-friendly, and scalable interfaces in close collaboration with Product Owners, UI Lead, and development teams. The role combines operational design in Figma with standardization, validation, and quality assurance of implemented UI.

The role is suitable for you who are accustomed to driving design work independently, collaborating in agile teams, and translating business and user needs into concrete interfaces and components.

Tasks 🛠️ Collaborate closely with UI Lead, Product Owners, and Chief Product Owner regarding design solutions based on identified needs.

Create and further develop UI design and component-based web solutions.

Drive standardization and support development teams regarding design principles and design rules.

Conduct A/B testing and other forms of validation prior to implementation.

Test and verify implemented UI design.

Work with stakeholders to understand needs and requirements.

Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies.

Contribute ideas, insights, and design expertise in cross-functional teams.

Mandatory requirements ✅ Deep experience in Figma and working with UI design.

Documented experience in component-based web design.

Experience in UX/UI design for web-based solutions.

Experience with agile development methods, for example Scrum.

Experience collaborating closely with Product Owners and development teams.

Experience in validating and quality assuring design before and after implementation.

Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with various stakeholders.

Very good knowledge of English.

Merit requirements ⭐ Good knowledge of Swedish.

Experience with industrial applications or industrial digital solutions.

Understanding of TCP/IP communication.

Understanding of MQTT.

Experience with A/B testing.

The development environment includes among others React, Svelte, TypeScript, Go, PostgreSQL, Git, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, Azure DevOps, Figma, and Miro. The role is primarily design-oriented and does not require developer competence in these technologies.
