Your tasks

The role combines ongoing business controlling for one or more technology areas with financial monitoring of one of the business's largest strategic initiatives. You will work closely with senior decision-makers, technology leaders, and other controllers to ensure efficient resource utilization, good cost control, and long-term business value.

You will play a central role in developing financial processes, contributing decision support, and creating understanding of how investments affect the business results.

💼 Job Duties

• Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and consolidation within the technology operations.
• Perform monthly closing activities, financial analyses, and performance monitoring.

• Ensure control over financial flows, including intercompany invoicing, invoices, and accruals.
• Monitor costs, investments, and business benefits within a larger multi-year strategic initiative.

• Perform cost calculations and financial management of technology investments.
• Develop and streamline processes for budgeting, forecasting, and financial monitoring.

• Support business managers and decision-makers with financial analyses, advisory, and strategic decision support.
• Ensure data quality in relevant financial systems and reporting tools.

• Contribute to improved procurement processes, contract management, and cost awareness.

Requirements

✅ Your Profile – Mandatory Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in business controlling, financial controlling, business analysis, or an equivalent relevant role.
• Academic degree in finance, technology, or an equivalent field.

• Very good understanding of financial principles, financial planning, and financial monitoring.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in handling complex financial issues.

• Good competence in financial tools and systems, for example Excel, Power BI, and SAP.
• Ability to collaborate with, communicate with, and influence various stakeholders, including senior decision-makers.

• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both oral and written.

• Experience in financial management and monitoring of large programs, projects, or investments.
• Experience in controlling within IT, technology operations, or digital transformation.

• Experience in financial monitoring of business cases, investment costs, and realized benefits.
• Experience in developing and improving processes for budgeting and forecasting.
