Project Forwarder to Finspång!
We are now looking for a Project Forwarder for an exciting consulting assignment at an international industrial company within advanced technical production. Here, you will have a central role in customer projects and be responsible for developing and coordinating efficient transport and logistics solutions from project start to final delivery.
🎯About the role
As a Project Forwarder, you will become an important part of the project organization and function as a sub-project manager for transport and forwarding matters throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Each project has its own prerequisites regarding destinations, delivery terms, customs handling, and logistics concepts. You will therefore have a varied everyday life where you combine operational problem-solving with planning, coordination, and commercial matters.
📦Your main tasks
You will, among other things:
Lead and coordinate transport and forwarding activities within the projects.
Develop transport strategies that ensure deliveries on time and according to customer requirements.
Procure transport solutions, manage agreements, and follow up on costs and budgets.
Collaborate with customers, suppliers, transport agents, and internal functions.
Ensure correct transport and customs documentation according to applicable regulations and customer requirements.
Identify and solve logistical challenges that arise during the course of the projects.
🔎We are looking for you who have
Relevant university education or several years of qualified experience within logistics, import/export, forwarding, or equivalent.
Good experience of logistics and transport flows.
Very good knowledge of English, both oral and written.
Ability to work structured and independently with several parallel projects and deliveries.
⭐Extra merits
It is a plus if you also have experience in:
International transport and customs handling.
Import/export and international trade flows.
Transport procurement and contract writing.
Project management or coordination of resources.
SAP and Microsoft Office.
