🌍 Senior Payroll Coordinator for an international environment

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Coordinator for a consulting assignment in an international and fast-changing organization. The role involves coordinating and ensuring the quality of payroll delivery for several countries within EMEA, in close collaboration with external payroll providers as well as internal functions such as HR and Finance.

This is a coordinating role within an outsourced payroll model. External providers are responsible for the actual payroll calculation and processing, while the Payroll team retains the overall responsibility for ensuring that delivery is correct and occurs on time.

You therefore need to have a solid understanding of payroll processes and be accustomed to coordinating providers, managing various stakeholders, and independently driving issues and discrepancies to resolution.

💼 Your tasks

• Responsible for and coordinate the ongoing payroll delivery for assigned EMEA countries together with external payroll providers • Ensure correct deliveries on time through coordination of documentation, reviews, approvals, deadlines, and follow-up • Act as the central point of contact between external payroll providers and internal stakeholders • Take ownership of payroll-related issues and discrepancies and drive them to resolution • Review payroll documentation and results as well as identify discrepancies that need investigation • Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and other internal functions • Handle and follow up on payroll-related queries from employees and the business • Ensure that local payroll requirements and internal guidelines are taken into account • Contribute to the improvement, standardization, and documentation of payroll processes • Support projects within payroll, implementations, transitions, as well as system and process changes

🎯 We are looking for someone who has

• Experience in payroll coordination in Sweden as well as at least two other EMEA countries • Experience in coordinating and following up on outsourced payroll management in Sweden • Good understanding of Swedish payroll processes and payroll requirements • Experience working with external payroll providers and an understanding of the division of responsibility between the organization and the provider • Solid experience in payroll within an international or global organization • Ability to handle multiple countries, providers, deadlines, and stakeholders in parallel • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive issues to resolution • Very good communication skills and experience in stakeholder management • A service-oriented approach towards both employees and the business • Fluent English

• Experience of outsourced payroll for several EMEA countries • Experience of payroll in Denmark and/or other European countries, for example United Kingdom, France, Italy, or Spain • Experience of Oracle • Experience of ticketing or case management systems, preferably Jira • Experience of payroll transformation, implementation, transition, or change projects • Experience with several different payroll providers and/or payroll systems • Experience from an international, global, or fast-growing organization
