We are now looking for a Demand Inventory Planner for an exciting assignment in Göteborg where you will work with forecasting, optimization, and the development of future planning tools.

🚀 About the assignment

In the role of Demand Inventory Planner, you are responsible for forecasting demand for spare parts and optimizing inventory levels to ensure an efficient and reliable supply chain. You will work closely with various business areas and functions within Service Operations & Technology to drive and develop the company's Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).

A central part of the assignment is to contribute to the development of PlanIT, a cloud-based planning solution built on Azure. Here, you will have the opportunity to combine analytical work with simulations, optimization, and modern technical solutions in an international and changing environment.

💡 Your main tasks

Forecast demand for spare parts and optimize inventory levels.

Analyze large datasets and transform insights into clear decision-making support.

Drive and contribute to cross-functional collaboration within S&OP.

Work with simulations, optimization models, and problem-solving.

Contribute to the development of data-driven planning solutions.

Collaborate with colleagues and management in English within an international organization.

👤 We are looking for you who

Have strong analytical abilities and enjoy complex problem-solving.

Have experience or education in logistics, inventory management, or supply chain.

Have a relevant university degree in, for example, industrial engineering, statistics, computer science, logistics, or equivalent.

Are curious to develop within, for example, Python, SQL, and Power BI.

Are interested in agile working methods and cloud services such as Azure or AWS.

Have good communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.

Are self-driven, proactive, and enjoy collaborating across different functions.
