Your responsibilities include, among others:
- Deliver designs on time, including technical data sheets, that correspond to the creative vision and the marketing briefing.
- Design according to cost specifications/margins, ensure feasibility, and remain creative and innovative with design proposals.
- Always stay up to date on the application possibilities of crystals and new techniques (internal and external) and integrate these into your designs.
- Incorporate creative contributions and lead the design phase of entire product families.
- Work closely with the following teams: Design, Product Development, Procurement, Product Marketing, and Prototyping (internal & external).
- Sharpen your business understanding for the Home Decoration category and gain insights into consumer needs.
About you
We are looking for a unique and extraordinary talent who brings the following:
- 3 years of professional experience in the field of Industrial Design
- Ideally a degree in Applied Arts, Product Design, or Industrial Design
- Knowledge of physical and digital modeling with Blender, 3D Coat (the software mainly used in the team)
- Experience with CAD software such as Rhinoceros is a great advantage (also used in the team as the main software for construction, NURBS, and SubD modeling).
- Experience with KeyShot and the ability to create renderings for internal reviews and design releases is highly desirable.
- Creativity and an affinity for 3D visualizations as well as a good eye for proportions and anatomy
- Strong trend awareness, sound technical understanding, and a strong interest in crystal design and materials
- Excellent English skills (German skills are an advantage).
