Leading refinement sessions and sprint planning together with the development team Responsibility for the definition and elaboration of requirements, Epics, and User Stories with a strong product understanding Coordination and collaboration with stakeholders from various areas (e.g., Sales, Product Management, and partners) Evaluation, structuring, and prioritization of incoming requirements, taking business requirements and product vision into account Definition and continuous adjustment of team priorities in alignment with strategic corporate goals Confident handling of changes during ongoing sprints while simultaneously ensuring stable implementation Responsibility for release planning as well as transparent communication of timelines and milestones Regular, clear, and structured reporting to Senior Management and relevant stakeholders Transparent presentation of successes, risks, and conflicts of interest to support informed decisions Close collaboration with Quality Assurance (QA) to define test scenarios and ensure customer release Ensuring high-quality, consistent, and understandable product documentation Active involvement of user feedback in product decisions and the further development of the product roadmap Joint leadership of the team together with the Team Lead in close and partnership-based cooperation
At least five years of professional experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a comparable position Knowledge in the field of traffic technology or a strong interest in mobility, traffic systems, Smart Cities, or comparable subject areas Completed Bachelor's degree in a technical field or a comparable qualification Sound understanding of agile methods as well as practical experience in managing Product Backlogs and Sprints Strong product understanding with the willingness to take on responsibility beyond the classic tasks of a Product Owner and to think across departments Experience in complex software environments, ideally with cloud-based systems Solid technical understanding and high technical affinity (in-depth development knowledge is not required) Strong communication skills and stakeholder management competencies across various hierarchical levels and regions Ability to translate complex regional requirements into clear and actionable product functions Assertiveness as well as strong argumentation and decision-making skills when prioritizing requirements Consistent customer and user orientation in all product decisions Teamwork skills as well as a cooperative and proactive way of working Experience in using Jira and Confluence Business fluent English skills in speaking and writing; German skills are an advantage, other language skills are welcome
