COMPETITION

for the selection of one employee for the position of Type III - Manager of an organizational unit of Type III(Manager of the department for financial - material operations), for a fixed period of 2 months due to increased workload, full-time.

Requirements:

• completed secondary school education in the field of economics (HKO level 4.2)
• knowledge of the English language
• two years of work experience in corresponding jobs

Applicants, along with a signed application for the competition, shall attach: a curriculum vitae, proof of acquired relevant professional qualifications, an electronic record of data recorded in the HZMO registry, proof of Croatian citizenship, and proof of fulfillment of other competition requirements.

Applicants who invoke the right of priority in employment according to special regulations are obliged to invoke this right in the application for the competition and have priority over other candidates only under equal conditions established by the competition, and based on a regular, complete, and timely application for the competition. Applicants who invoke the right of priority in employment in accordance with Article 102 and 103 of the Act on Croatian Defenders of the Homeland War and their family members (Narodne novine no. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21, 156/23), are obliged to attach, in addition to proof of fulfillment of the requested requirements, all necessary evidence from Article 103, paragraph 1, available at the link of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843.

By submitting an application for the competition, applicants expressly agree that PMF, as the controller of personal data, may collect, use, and further process the data for the purpose of conducting the competition procedure in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) and the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation.

For applicants who meet the formal requirements of the competition, a check of the knowledge and abilities essential for performing the duties of the position may be conducted through testing and/or interviews. All data regarding testing will be published on the official website of the Faculty of Science in Split https://www.pmfst.unist.hr/, at least five days before the testing takes place. If an applicant does not attend the check, it will be considered that they have withdrawn their application for the competition. Applicants will be notified of the place and time of the check via electronic message to the email address provided in the application. Applicants of both sexes may participate equally in the competition.

Applications are to be submitted in electronic form within 8 days of the publication of the competition in Narodne novine to the email address natjecaj-posao@pmfst.hr. A complete application is considered to be one that contains all attachments and is signed by hand. Untimely and incomplete applications will not be considered, nor will applicants of incomplete applications be allowed to supplement their application.

Applicants will be notified of the results of the competition within the legal deadline.
