1. associate for a fixed period (for a duration of 12 months) in full-time (m/f – two (2) executors) in the Center for support in the preparation of competitive scientific projects (m/f – two (2)

Special conditions for the establishment of an employment relationship:

• HKO level: 7.1.,
• active knowledge of the English language and
• knowledge of computer work.

Job description:

• participates in the implementation of the Center's activities,
• provides support to researchers of the constituent units of the University of Rijeka in the preparation of applications for competitive scientific projects,
• helps in the organization and implementation of information days and workshops and other informative events of the Center,

Probationary period: 3 months. Work experience is understood as the time spent in an employment relationship in corresponding jobs after acquiring a certain qualification and the associated level in accordance with the Croatian Qualifications Framework (HKO). Both genders may apply to the competition under equal conditions. Terms that have gender meaning are used neutrally and refer equally to both genders. In the application to the competition, applicants must mandatory state personal data: name and surname, date and place of birth, residential address, telephone number, e-mail address, the name of the job position they are applying for, and a note on the return of the competition documentation. The application to the competition must be signed by hand. Along with the application to the competition, it is necessary to attach: a CV, proof of the required professional qualification (copy of diploma/certificate), an electronic record or confirmation of the data recorded in the registry of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute regarding work experience (not older than one month), a copy of the identity card or residence permit, and other certificates of meeting the conditions/advantages for the job position (copies of employment contracts, or appropriate evidence proving the fulfillment of the conditions/advantages for the job position). As proof of appropriate knowledge of the English language, a certificate, a copy of grades, or a hand-signed statement of fulfillment of the stated condition will be accepted, and as proof of computer work knowledge, a copy of a certificate, confirmation, or other appropriate evidence, or a hand-signed statement of the candidate regarding the fulfillment of the stated condition will be accepted. The University reserves the right to conduct a check of knowledge, skills, and abilities through an interview or practical testing of applicants. In the case of conducting the stated checks, applicants are obliged to undergo them, otherwise they will be considered to have withdrawn from the application to the competition. The return of the competition documentation will be carried out at the request of the applicant. The applicant must state the request in the text of the application. The deadline for submitting applications is 8 days from the day of publication of the competition, which was last published in the appropriate media. Incomplete and late applications will not be considered. Applicants will be informed of the results of the competition. The University reserves the right, partially or in its entirety, to cancel the competition and not to select any candidate without special explanation.
