UNIVERSITY OF RIJEKA, Trg braće Mažuranić 10, announces COMPETITION no. 14/26 for the establishment of an employment relationship for the position of advisor - advisor for innovation and knowledge valorization for an indefinite period, full-time in the Department for Innovation and Knowledge Valorization (m/f, 1 executor)
Special conditions for the establishment of an employment relationship:
- HKO level: 7.1 of the social or humanities field,
- active knowledge of the English language and
- knowledge of computer work.
Job description:
- participates in the implementation process of all activities related to the two-way transfer of knowledge to and from the University in relation to stakeholders from the economy, community, and citizenry,
- participates in the preparation and implementation of strategic innovation projects and programs of the Department for Innovation and Knowledge Valorization,
- participates in the organization and implementation of promotion activities in the field of knowledge transfer and the organization of educational and informative events of the Department,
- advises students and researchers of the University of Rijeka on issues regarding intellectual property protection.

Work experience is understood as the time spent in an employment relationship in corresponding jobs after acquiring a certain qualification and the associated level in accordance with the Croatian Qualifications Framework (HKO). Both genders may apply to the competition under equal conditions. Gender-specific terms are used neutrally and refer equally to both genders. In the application to the competition, applicants must mandatory state personal data: name and surname, date and place of birth, residential address, telephone number, e-mail address, the name of the position they are applying for, and a note regarding the return of the competition documentation. The application to the competition must be signed by hand. Along with the application to the competition, it is necessary to attach: a CV, proof of the required professional qualification (copy of diploma/certificate), an electronic record or confirmation of data recorded in the registry of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute regarding work experience (not older than one month), a copy of an ID card or residence permit, and other confirmations of meeting the requirements/advantages for the job position (copies of employment contracts, or appropriate evidence proving the fulfillment of requirements/advantages for the job position). As proof of appropriate knowledge of the English language, a certificate, a transcript of grades, or a hand-signed statement of fulfillment of the stated requirement will be accepted, and as proof of knowledge of computer work, a copy of a certificate, confirmation, or other appropriate evidence, or a hand-signed statement of the candidate regarding the fulfillment of the stated requirement will be accepted. The University reserves the right to conduct a check of knowledge, skills, and abilities through an interview or practical testing of applicants. In the event that the aforementioned checks are conducted, applicants are obliged to undergo them; otherwise, they will be considered to have withdrawn from the competition application. The return of competition documentation will be carried out at the request of the applicant. The applicant must state the request in the text of the application. The deadline for submitting applications is 8 days from the day of the publication of the competition, which was last published in the relevant media. Incomplete and late applications will not be considered. Applicants will be informed of the results of the competition. The University reserves the right, partially or in its entirety, to cancel the competition and not to select any candidate without special explanation.
