SENIOR TECHNICAL ASSOCIATE - SENIOR LABORATORY TECHNICIAN (CARETAKER) (M/F)

University of Rijeka, Faculty of Medicine, announces a COMPETITION for the position of senior technical associate – senior laboratory technician (caretaker) at the Institute of Histology and Embryology of the Faculty of Medicine in Rijeka, 1 (one) executor, full-time, for an indefinite period.

REQUIREMENTS:

• level 6 university or professional study in the field of biomedicine and healthcare (laboratory, sanitary, veterinary orientation) or technical sciences,
• knowledge of the English language,
• knowledge of computer work
• probationary period – 3 (three) months.

Applications for the competition may be submitted by persons of both sexes (Article 13, paragraph 2 of the Gender Equality Act, NN 82/08, 69/17). By applying for the competition, the candidate gives consent for all their personal data contained in the application documentation to be collected and processed for the purpose of conducting the competition in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data. Candidates who, based on special regulations, invoke the right of priority in employment are obliged to invoke that right in the application and attach all evidence specified by special regulations for exercising that right. Candidates whose native language is not Croatian must attach proof of knowledge of the Croatian language (level B2) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Candidates who have obtained education outside the Republic of Croatia must submit an opinion from the competent agency on the acquired foreign professional qualification or proof that the procedure for acquiring the same has been initiated. The Faculty reserves the right, before making a decision, to conduct a check of knowledge and skills through testing and/or an interview with candidates who submit a timely and regular application and meet the formal requirements of the competition. Candidates will be timely notified about the holding of testing and/or an interview. If a candidate does not attend the check, they will be considered to have withdrawn their application for the competition. The Faculty reserves the right to partially or entirely cancel the competition and not to select any candidate without special explanation. The deadline for submitting applications is 8 (eight) days from the day of publication of the competition.
