WORKER / WORKER OF THE 3RD TYPE - AQUARIUM COLLECTOR / COLLECTOR AT THE INSTITUTE OF MARINE AND COASTAL STUDIES
In addition to the general conditions for establishing an employment relationship, the candidate must also meet the professional requirements, namely:
- completed secondary education (HKO level 4.2 or 4.1) or completed professional short study
- 1 year of work experience in corresponding jobs
- active knowledge of the English language
- knowledge of working on a computer
Persons of both sexes may apply equally to the public competition. The terms used in this competition that have a gender meaning are used neutrally and refer equally to both male and female sexes. Incomplete and untimely applications will not be considered. Only a person who submits a timely and regular application and who meets the formal requirements of the public competition will be considered a candidate applied to this competition. An application is considered regular only if it contains all the data and attachments specified in the competition. The signed application to the public competition must also include the data of the applicant (first and last name, residential address, OIB, phone number, e-mail, exclusively for the purposes of the competition procedure). Along with the signed application to the public competition, it is necessary to attach:
- CV,
- proof of the appropriate level of education,
- confirmation from the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute regarding the periods of registration for pension insurance,
- confirmation or statement of knowledge of the English language and working on a computer.
The aforementioned proofs are attached in original or as a copy that does not need to be certified. The deadline for submitting applications to the public competition is 8 days from the publication of the competition in „Narodne novine“, and applications with proof of meeting the requirements are submitted via the e-mail address ured@unidu.hr . This competition is also published on the website of the University of Dubrovnik (www.unidu.hr ). If a candidate exercises a preference in employment according to special regulations, they are obliged to refer to that right in the application for the competition and are obliged to attach to the application all necessary documentation from which that right is visible, in accordance with the special regulation. Candidates who refer to the right of preference in employment in accordance with the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and their family members (NN no. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21) are obliged to attach documentation of meeting the requirements. (Article 103 of the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and their family members and the List of Proofs for exercising rights in employment). A candidate who refers to the right of preference in employment in accordance with the provisions of the Act on Civil Victims of the Homeland War (NN no. 84/21), in addition to the application for the public competition, is obliged to attach and submit, in addition to proof of meeting the requested requirements, all necessary evidence from Article 49 of the said Act. A candidate who refers to the right of preference in employment in accordance with the provisions of the Act on the Protection of War Disabled and Civil Victims of War (NN no. 33/92, 57/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 2/94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 103/03, 148/13, 98/19), is obliged to attach and submit, in addition to proof of meeting the requested requirements, a decision, or a confirmation from which such a right is visible and proof of how the previous employment relationship ended. A candidate who refers to the right of preference in accordance with the provisions of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (NN no. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18, 32/20), is obliged to attach and submit all proofs of meeting the requested requirements, as well as proof of the established status of a person with a disability. The Commission for the implementation of the public competition procedure is appointed by the Rector of the University of Dubrovnik. The Commission will conduct an interview with candidates who meet the formal requirements of the competition, as part of which knowledge and abilities essential for performing tasks at the specified workplace will be verified, and it may also conduct written testing. Candidates who enter the shortlist will be referred for psychological testing (psychological selection of candidates and professional selection of employment advisors for the shortlist of candidates). If a candidate does not attend the interview with the Commission or the psychological testing, they will be considered to have withdrawn their application to the competition. The University of Dubrovnik will, in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data, publish information about the selected applicant on its web pages and allow all candidates insight into the competition documentation. The University of Dubrovnik reserves the right to cancel this competition without stating a reason, and the notice of cancellation of the competition will be published on the web pages of the University.
