SECRETARY IN THE SCIENCE AND HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEM IN THE DEPARTMENT FOR GENERAL, LEGAL, AND PERSONNEL AFFAIRS
Sveučilište Sjever announces COMPETITION For employment as follows:
- One official at the position of – secretary in the science and higher education system in the Department for General, Legal, and Personnel Affairs, for an indefinite period, full-time, with a six-month probationary period.
Requirements: Applicants for employment under point 2. of the competition must meet the following requirements:
- completed university graduate studies or university integrated undergraduate and graduate studies or professional graduate studies in a social field (EQF level 7.1. univ. or 7.1. prof.), at least 3 years of work experience, knowledge of one foreign language, knowledge of computer work.
Application: Along with the application to the competition, applicants for point 2. are obliged to attach:
- CV, a copy of the domicile certificate and birth certificate, a copy of the diploma/certificate of completed level of education (applicants who obtained the academic/professional title in a study program that is no longer conducted or is not of the same type (in accordance with the Law on Higher Education and Scientific Activity and the Law on Academic and Professional Titles and Academic Degrees) are obliged to submit a certificate of equivalence of titles), evidence of meeting the required conditions (proof of experience, proof of knowledge of a foreign language, proof of knowledge of working on a personal computer), proof of knowledge of the Croatian language (level B2 – for foreign citizens); a certificate that no criminal proceedings have been initiated against the candidate (not older than 6 months).
The competition for point 2. is open for 8 days from the day of publication in Narodne novine.
A regular application is considered an application that contains all data and attachments in the manner stated in the competition. Applicants who submit incomplete or late applications to the competition, as well as applicants who do not meet the formal requirements of the competition, shall not be considered applicants applied to the competition. Applicants will be notified of the competition results within the legal deadline, via the website of Sveučilište Sjever, www.unin.hr, and the day of publication is considered the day of delivery of the notification to the applicants.
The University reserves the right not to make a decision on the selection of candidates without special justification, or to cancel the competition partially or in its entirety.

An applicant who exercises the right of preference in employment according to special regulations is obliged in the application to the competition to refer to this right and to attach documents proving the status based on which they exercise the right of preference. Preference over other applicants is achieved only under equal conditions. By submitting an application to the competition, applicants are explicitly in agreement and give consent to Sveučilište Sjever for the collection and processing of personal data stated in the application to the competition and the documentation submitted with the application, for the purpose of conducting the competition procedure in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Applications to the competition for point 2. of the competition with the required documentation (originals or copies) are submitted/sent to the address: Sveučilište Sjever, Sveučilišni centar Varaždin, Jurja Križanića 31/B, 42000 Varaždin, with the note: »Za natječaj – (state the point of the competition)«.
Copies of the requested documents may be attached to the application, and originals are to be submitted later upon the request of Sveučilište Sjever. Applicants of both sexes may apply for the competition. Incomplete and late applications will not be considered.
