Satellite and Ground Station Operator

We are now looking for a dedicated person who wants to be part of our global journey in the role of Satellite and Ground Station Operator at Esrange Space Center outside Kiruna.
YOUR ROLE
As a Ground Station and satellite operator, you are responsible for technical and operational functions such as monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting, as well as processing and distribution of data to customers.
YOUR PROFILE
The work takes place in a high-tech environment. To thrive in the role, you find it easy to understand technical processes, follow instructions, and convey information. Your technical interest combined with your analytical and communicative manner is something we value. You are a flexible team player who thrives best when given individual responsibility. You also work in close collaboration with colleagues and often in direct contact with international customers.
We are looking for you who have at least a high school diploma with a focus on science, electrical/telecommunications, space technology, or data/electronics. If you have operator experience from ground station or satellite operations, it is an advantage. We operate in an international environment which requires good knowledge of English in speech and writing. Furthermore, you have good computer proficiency and a B-driver's license.
