Head of Logistics (m/f/d) (Specialist - Logistics/Materials Management)

For our Mechanical Applications division at the Altdorf location, we are looking for a

Head of Logistics (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Disciplinary and technical leadership of employees in the areas of goods receipt, goods issue, material provision, and customs declaration
• Responsibility for inventory management in the goods receipt and goods issue warehouses
• Ensuring compliance with all regulations regarding packaging and transport of goods to the customer
• Support in the optimization of processes surrounding the delivery, storage, and distribution of goods
• Taking on the function of Dangerous Goods Officer
• Ensuring compliance with all occupational safety regulations within the area of responsibility
• Responsibility for the annual inventory execution

Requirements

• Completed vocational training (e.g., Specialist for Warehouse Logistics, Logistics Master, or a completed degree) with corresponding professional experience
• Sound knowledge in the areas of goods receipt, goods issue, inventory management, inventory, and material flow control
• Professional experience in leading a logistics department
• Very good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
• Strong organizational skills as well as a structured way of working
• High teamwork skills, strong communication skills, and a confident appearance
• Operation of lifting vehicles (forklifts)
• Good English skills
