For our Mechanical Applications department at the Altdorf location, we are looking for a

Purchaser (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Execution of inquiries, offer review, and evaluation
• Conducting price and contract negotiations with suppliers
• Building and further developing a high-performance supplier portfolio through systematic supplier search, development, and evaluation
• Negotiation, creation, and maintenance of supplier contracts using existing contract standards in coordination with relevant departments.
• Control and evaluation of supplier quality
• Development, evaluation, and implementation of cost-saving concepts for the sustainable optimization of procurement costs
• Participation in the development and implementation of international procurement strategies to strengthen the competitive position
• Cooperation with other departments and foreign subsidiaries
• Execution of ordering processes and processing in SAP
• Prototype procurement and coordination of the supplier chain in the project and pre-series phase, participation in projects

Your Profile

• Technical or commercial studies or comparable training
• Professional experience in purchasing or sales in the manufacturing industry
• Diplomatic negotiation skills and assertiveness
• Good English skills
• Knowledge of MS Office
• SAP experience is an advantage
• Good communication skills, analytical thinking, and action
• Confident appearance and a strong ability to cooperate with different interfaces
