SENIOR SUPERVISOR

Job Summary

Supervise construction crews and engineering technicians to deliver projects that meet specifications, codes, and customer requirements. Manage budgets, timelines, safety protocols, and technical reporting while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction crews and engineering technicians to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications
• Enforce adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and customer requirements throughout project execution
• Develop and implement safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
• Manage project budgets by allocating resources efficiently and monitoring timelines to meet delivery targets
• Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and engineering professionals to align project goals and resolve issues
• Prepare and present detailed technical reports on project progress, forecasts, and challenges to stakeholders
• Identify and resolve engineering issues and constraints to maintain project continuity
• Inspect machinery and equipment regularly to ensure operational safety and functionality
• Mentor and train junior staff to enhance team skills and performance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• ITE or Diploma qualification
• Proven work experience as a Civil Engineering Supervisor or in a similar role
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools
• Strong understanding of construction materials, processes, and equipment
• Ability to read, interpret, and create technical documents and drawings
• Demonstrated project management skills
