Systems Manager

Important Company in the Oil Industry will incorporate a professional with no less than 5 years in similar positions, being in charge of:

• Managing microcomputing resources.
• Providing technical advice, support, and problem resolution for the different areas.
• Safeguarding information.
• Evaluating requirements for new computing resources.
• Managing new purchases with the respective technical specifications, and currently existing external contracts as well as those that may be added based on the growth of the activity.
• Ensuring connectivity with other client companies.
• Collaborating in the execution of investment projects related to their area of responsibility by providing their opinion on the best solution regarding the use of proprietary servers, type of technology, backups, etc.
• Interacting with the Company's network manager.
• Collaborating in the implementation projects of new systems: maintenance management, warehouse control, artificial intelligence, product balance.
• Monitoring compliance with cybersecurity policies and promoting their update.
• Promoting the safe use of AI.
• Proposing improvements to management regarding topics within their scope of action.
• Being the internal technical reference to answer inquiries in their area of responsibility.

The position is hybrid, although they must travel one or two weeks per month to Rincón de los Sauces and/or to the different plants of the Company. Experience in IT and OT networks, cybersecurity, and communication networks is required. Knowledge of the Software and microcomputing market. Experience in the Microsoft and Google universe. Knowledge of AI.
