Responsibilities and assignments

• Ensure the regularity of processes and intermediate products, with the aim of reducing operational costs and maintaining the final quality of the products;
• Issue reports regarding the production process, implementing and maintaining the Statistical Process Control System;
• Contribute to industrial automation in the factory, analyzing the use of expert control systems, seeking excellence indices;
• Contribute to the optimization of the production process, through monitoring the installations and their main technical indices, acting directly on the correction of deviations;
• Contribute to the technical and economic progress of the factory, through studies, tests, and the adoption of new technologies that enable a reduction in industrial costs of the products and the production process, without degradation of quality and equipment;
• Contribute to the reduction of unsafe acts and the elimination of unsafe conditions for employees, contractors, and installations, through participation and support for safety programs;
• Contribute to the qualification and development of the unit's human resources regarding the theme of Processes and Automation;
• Evaluate the impact that the use of alternative fuel causes on the quality and productivity of production, seeking balance between various control variables;
• Prioritize personal safety and the safety of third parties, observing existing signage, using personal protective equipment, and fully complying with internal norms and procedures as previously trained.
• Keep technical training up to date;

Requirements and qualifications

• Completed postgraduate degree in the area of Chemical Engineering;
• Knowledge of alternative fuel usage methods and laboratory testing methodologies;
• Advanced English language;
• Intermediate Office Package (Excel, Word, and Power Point);
• Experience in Cement Industry Processes;
