Within the group, mastering and performing in transport is at the heart of our value proposition. This is why we are looking for our future Transport Expert.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, your objective is clear: raise our level of requirement regarding transport Service Quality (SQ), secure reporting, and guarantee responsive daily customer support.

You will intervene on technical, analytical, and operational matters, with a central role in consulting and support.

Contract and mission location

We offer a CDI. The position is based in Démouville (Caen la mer), ideal for combining a real professional challenge with an excellent living environment. The position is to be filled as soon as possible.

Your missions

Your responsibilities:

Economic Performance & Steering

• Steer the evolution of price per parcel on monthly transport invoices.
• Guarantee our profitability objectives.
• Rigorously control weights and taxes on customer invoices.
• Analyze results and report directly to the Commercial Director.

Customer Consulting & Support

• Advise our customers (during integration or existing ones) on the best transport offer according to their business and carrier conditions.
• Continuously improve the transport offers of our customer portfolio.
• Support customers in performing their transport mappings and advise them on quotations.
• Monitor and validate the configuration of transport accounts during customer integration.

Technical Expertise & Partners

• Conduct regular checkpoints with our partner carriers to adjust our offers.
• Respond precisely to customs inquiries.
• Act as the preferred advisor (internally and for customers) on Import/Export regulations and dangerous goods management.

Your skills

The profile we are looking for

• You possess consolidated experience at a carrier, an e-commerce company, or an industrial company, in a role focused on steering transport operations.
• Bilingual or fluent English is imperative to exchange fluidly with our international customers and service providers.
• You perfectly master monocolis flows and messaging/freight, as well as associated regulations (customs, ADR standards, transport law).
• You have an advanced level in Excel and BI tools to process large volumes of tracking data and produce precise KPIs.
• You are very comfortable dealing with high-level interlocutors (Supply Chain Directorates) and have a true customer posture.
• Proactive and rigorous, you know how to challenge your partners and not simply endure malfunctions.
• The little plus: Experience in "campaign transport" (management of massive flows over short periods, e.g., publishing sector) will be highly appreciated.
