GL Accountant

Job description

As a GL Accountant, you are responsible for the general accounting and play a key role in the financial process at a European level.

• Management of the general ledger (GL) accounts
• Preparing and executing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and analyzing variances
• Supporting internal and external audits
• Contributing to reporting according to international standards (IFRS)
• Optimizing processes within accounting and reporting
• Bachelor's or Master's in Accountancy, Finance, or similar
• At least several years of relevant experience as a GL Accountant
• Strong analytical insight and attention to detail
• You work in a structured and independent manner
• Perfect knowledge of English (must) – this is the working language within the organization
• Experience in an international context is a plus
