Then you might just be the person we are looking for.

We are currently recruiting a Maritime Operations Agent to join a dynamic team passionate about international transport. Here, there is no routine: every shipment is different and every day brings its own set of challenges to overcome.

Your mission: moving goods all over the world

At the heart of operations, you will take charge of the organization and monitoring of import and export maritime flows, whether involving full containers or LCL (groupage). As a true coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for clients, shipping lines, carriers, and international partners.

Concretely, you will be required to:

• Manage maritime transport files from A to Z, from opening to closing.
• Organize shipments by searching for the most efficient solutions in terms of lead times, costs, and quality of service.

• Communicate daily with shipping lines, road carriers, foreign agents, and logistics providers to ensure the smooth running of operations.
• Inform and support clients throughout their shipments, anticipating potential bottlenecks and quickly proposing suitable solutions.

• Control documentary compliance and ensure respect for regulations related to international trade and customs procedures.
• Optimize purchasing costs and file profitability by negotiating the best conditions with partners.

• Ensure the administrative follow-up of operations: file creation, purchase control, validation of services, and invoicing.
• Contribute to service quality by identifying anomalies, handling complaints, and participating in the continuous improvement of processes.

The ideal profile

You possess at least 3 years of experience in import/export maritime transit and master the main stages of an international transport operation.

Incoterms are no secret to you, you are comfortable with customs procedures, and you communicate easily in English with interlocutors from all over the world.
