Tax Planning Manager
Responsibilities: 1. Design and maintain the group's cross-border tax structure to support investment, financing, procurement, and service arrangements in Singapore and Southeast Asia
- Lead analysis and implementation covering transfer pricing, permanent establishment, withholding tax, GST/VAT, tax treaties, and related-party transactions
- Review local tax filings, calculations, and documentation, identify risks, and develop remediation and tax-efficiency measures
- Support tax due diligence and impact assessments for new projects, contracts, and restructurings, providing recommendations to management
- Manage Big Four and local tax advisors, coordinate with finance, legal, business, and audit teams, monitor regulatory changes, and strengthen tax controls
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree or above in tax, accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent qualification preferred
- 5+ years of international tax experience with a Big Four firm, specialist tax practice, or multinational company, with exposure to Singapore and Southeast Asia
- Strong knowledge of transfer pricing, permanent establishment, withholding tax, GST/VAT, tax treaties, and cross-border investment structures
- Hands-on experience in tax solution design, implementation, filing review, risk assessment, and documentation
- Strong Chinese and English communication and reporting skills, with the ability to collaborate with finance, legal, business teams, and external advisors
