Experienced forklift driver for cold storage production

Your tasks

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable forklift driver to drive the forklift in a cold storage production, handling fresh and frozen poultry products.

• Receiving fresh poultry products from production
• Transporting fresh products into the freezer for freezing
• Moving frozen products throughout the warehouse using a forklift
• Preparing products for shipment and distribution
• Handling shipping documents, labels, and product identification
• Ensuring correct traceability and documentation
• Maintaining order and cleanliness throughout the freezer warehouse
• Assisting with daily warehouse and logistics operations
• Following all food safety, quality, and safety procedures

Requirements

Are you comfortable working at -20°C and have strong forklift skills?

The warehouse has narrow aisles and limited operating space, making forklift experience essential. Precision, awareness, and safe operation are critical to success in this role.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

• Holds a valid forklift certificate/license
• Has solid forklift driving experience from warehouse, logistics, or production companies.
• Is comfortable working in temperatures of approximately -20°C
• Thrives in a cold working environment and can maintain a high level of performance throughout the day
• Has experience operating forklifts in narrow aisles and confined spaces
• Understands the importance of safe and accurate forklift operation
• Works independently and takes responsibility for assigned tasks
• Is structured, quality-conscious, and reliable
• Has experience working with shipping documents, labels, and warehouse procedures
• Takes pride in keeping the warehouse organized and efficient

You will be working in a storage facility with temperatures around -20°C, and it is important that you are comfortable working in a cold environment throughout your shift. We are looking for someone who thrives in these conditions and understands the importance of maintaining both safety and efficiency while working in cold temperatures.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: Start at 08:35 AM and work until all scheduled tasks are completed
• Every 6th & 7th Friday: Start at 08:35 AM
• 37 hours a week, overtime should be expected.
