tire technician

Super Save Group is looking for a tire technician to join our heavy-duty mechanical shop. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with heavy equipment, and completing quality work safely and efficiently.

*Key Duties & responsibilities:*

-Assist with tire installation, removal, rotation, balancing, and repair.

-Inspected tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation.

-Assist with mounting and dismounting tires using tire-changing equipment.

-Check tire pressure and adjust it according to manufacturer specifications.

-Help with inspections on wheels, lug nuts, and other tire components to ensure safety.

-Perform seasonal tire changes.

-Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and replacements.

-Promptly report any incidents and complete all necessary documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.

-Perform other general shop duties as required.

*What you bring:*

-Previous experience in a lube technician, fleet maintenance, automotive, or heavy-duty environment is an asset.

-Basic mechanical knowledge and a willingness to learn.

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-Capability to withstand the physical demands of the position.

-Demonstrated commitment to exceptional service and professionalism.

-Good interpersonal skills to communicate with coworkers and Supervisors.
